We believe homes matter. The spaces in your home are the backdrop of your life, the canvas on which you make moments. We want you to love that backdrop.

We hope to partner with you in designing and styling rooms that fit with your daily life, whether that be resting or playing, retreating or gathering.

So, here’s to designing beautiful rooms. Not just immaculate, perfectly accessorized Instagram-worthy rooms, but rooms that tell your unique story, that excite you to live life in them, and that give you that intangible “I’m home” feeling.

It's nice to meet you.

We are a mother + daughter design team working in the Topeka and Kansas City areas. KS Design Company was born out of our desire to create beautiful spaces and work alongside one another.

About Us Staci1.jpg

Staci Ankerholz

Staci resides in Topeka, Kansas and is a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two. Rearranging her room over and over as a child, her love for design runs deep. Today, it's not uncommon for Staci to wake up in the middle of the night pondering a solution to a friend's design dilemma. She's not afraid to stick an abstract art piece over an antique dresser, living by the philosophy that styles are meant to be mixed. Layered texture and black and white combinations are personal favorites. But, most of all, she aims for spaces to be fully livable and fully loved. She keeps the vision for KS Design Company going, viewing circumstances with a glass-half-full mentality.

About Us Kylie1.jpg

Kylie Briggs

Kylie is a wife, mother of two, and resident of Kansas City. She came by love for design honestly, watching her mom experiment with design growing up. Kylie worked as a secondary education teacher for seven years before joining forces with her mom to turn all their hypothetical conversations about starting a design company into reality. She has a weakness for neutral color palettes and large artwork. Unexpected elements make her smile, and she appreciates spaces that breathe. Kylie brings organization and enthusiasm to the company.
